April 17th, 2010: Another website update: five supercool creature pics of miniatures, which Brett has build for his next movie, have been uploaded to the "stuff" section and an article about the "Muckman" trailer, as well as another "Shock-O-Rama" review, have been added to the "press" section. March 24th, 2010: Daniel "Indrid13" Wilder, who's been a fan of Brett's movies ever since he saw "A Nymphoid Barbarian In Dinosaur Hell" on USA Network in the early 90s, has done a kick-ass interview with Brett for his horror website The Cathode Ray Mission!! March 5th, 2010: Damn, the last update is not even a week old and I've already found a helluva lot of other cool stuff to add to the site as well... so here's another bunch of news from the Brett Piper camp for you to enjoy!

  • Brett's feature film debut "Mysterious Planet" has just been re-released in Germany on DVD as part of the "Jules Verne Box". The new German title is "Die Reise Zum Planet Des Grauens" which means as much as "Journey To The Planet Of Terror"... you can take a look at the box cover at the "Mysterious Planet" page.

January 14th, 2010: Since Fearzone.com unforunately had to close its gates for good, we've now archived all previous chapters of the "Diary of a MUCKMAN" column in our "press" section. The movie is in post-production now and we hope to find a new place to publish the latest news from the swamp soon! Stay tuned!

And just for giggles, a few pics of cute dinosaurs and cavemen, which Brett made a few years ago, have been added to the "stuff" section, too. Check 'em out, they're really awesome!

November 11th, 2009: Just got another bunch of screen caps from "Muckman" as well as two exclusive sneak peeks at a new dinosaur model Brett is currently working on... they're waitin' for you in the "stuff" section, fellas!

Oh, and not to forget, a new review for "Bite Me!" (found over at Rubbermosterfetishism) has been added to the "press" section, too.

September 29th, 2009: A few days ago the Muckman first showed his ugly face to the public and it looks like he really enjoyed the attention he got. Or how else would you explain the fact that shortly after a pic of the nasty fiend attacking beautiful film actress Anju McIntyre got published on the net, our slimey friend even agreed to do an official photoshooting. The result of said shooting is a very cool creature portrait which can be checked out in the "stuff" section. Enjoy!

Next to the first official portrait of the Muckman in all his (arguable) beauty, his creator Brett Piper did also send us a kick-ass behind-the-scenes pic of actor Steve Diasparra wearing the Muckman suit. Prepare yourself for an exclusive peek at the Muckman UNMASKED!!

September 8th, 2009: Extra! Extra! A gruesome creature has been spotted in the swamps of Pennsylvania/USA. The hideous fiend, known as the Muckman, is extremely belligerent and dangerous. If you cross his way, there's no use running or hiding, cause sooner or later he'll get you anyway... and believe me, you don't even wanna know what he's gonna do to you once he's got you in his slimey claws!! To find out what this ferocious beast looks like, go ahead and visit the "stuff" section!! But don't say I didn't warn you... the Muckman's one damn ugly son of a bitch!!

August 15th, 2009: Earlier this month Brett sat down to design a stop motion critter for his new film "Muckman". To give you guys a little insight into how Brett makes his beasts, he has send me three pictures which have been taken at different stages of the creature production. The first pic is a b/w sketch drawn by Brett, the second pic has been shot about halfway through the production process and the third one shows the final model, a creepy little fellow called "Octo". Check it out in the "stuff" section!!

August 6th, 2009: Brett Piper fan Roger Todd has send us a high-resolution scan of an interview with Brett, which appeared in the 5th issue of SPFX magazine in the late 90s... thanks a lot, Roger, for your cool contribution!! August 3rd, 2009: Three new still from "Muckman" have been uploaded to the "stuff" section & a new episode of "Diary Of A Muckman" has been posted over at Fearzone.com!!

July 3rd, 2009: From June 28th to July 12th (10am - 4pm) , there is an exhibition about Benson's Animal Farm, a theme park that Brett worked for in the mid-80s, at the Hill's Memorial Library (Stone Building) in Hudson center. Admission is free and among lots of other cool memorabilia, they've also put a down-scaled model of the park on display, which Brett had build in 1985.

June 16th, 2009: The first official still of "Muckman" and first over-the-shoulder sneek peek at the awesome creature costume, which Brett has build for the film's slimey villain, is now online!! Check it out here.

June 14th, 2009: Jeff Warren, a dedicated fan of Brett's films and proud owner of a helluva rare Japanese VHS tape of "Mutant War", has just send us some cool screen captures of the afore-mentioned sci-fi epic. Enjoy!

June 10th, 2009: Principal photography for "Muckman" has started last weekend. To keep you up to date about the shoot, Fearzone.com has just started a new column called "Diary Of A Muckman", where they'll fill you in on all news from "Muckman" front. The first part is already up, so be sure to check it out right away at Fearzone.com/blog/muckman-1.

May 13th, 2009: Last weekend Brett Piper and Mark Polonia shot the first footage for their new horror film "Muckman" which will feature, among others, "Shock-O-Rama" star Anju McIntyre (aka AJ Khan) and "Bacterium" star Alison Whitney. According to Brett the shoot turned out pretty fine. If all goes well, principal photography is going to start in early June '09. Stay tuned.
